Penn State Brandywine will celebrate and appreciate the artwork created by students last semester during a reception on Thursday, Jan. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the John D. Vairo Library, room 112.
On display will be artwork produced by students from a wide range of disciplines who completed Introduction to Visual Studies/Life Drawing or Introduction to Painting courses. Guests will view more than 100 studies ranging from landscape, still life, figure drawing and imagined works created both in the classroom and under the trees on the campus lawn during the fall semester.
The art studio will be open to the public for a look into the inner workings of the creative process. Instructor in Art Jon Manteau will be available for questions, insight and inspiration and light refreshments will be served.
